Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, heat the oil. Saute the onions, carrot, celery, and garlic until soft, about 8 minutes.
2. Add the beans, broth, tomatoes and their juice, and rosemary; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer; stir in the pasta, parsley, salt and pepper; simmer, covered, about 5 minutes longer. Serve at once, sprinkled with the cheese. |
